Note: This is REQUIRED for all Nexiwave White-Label customers to use their own "From" address. If not configured, Nexiwave's white-label domain "vm-notify@vm2txt.com" will be used as the "From" address.
For Nexiwave to send emails as a sender from your domain, DNS TXT records for SPF and/or DKIM are strongly recommended. These records should be configured with your DNS provider. These records will ensure the proper delivery of Voicemail Transcription Emails to your customers (without being marked as spam or rejection).
An example SPF TXT record is below:
Web interface:
Raw text format:
TXT your-domain.com "v=spf1 include:nexiwave.com ~all"
Another example: if your domain uses google email, your SPF record should look like:
Web interface:
Raw text format:
TXT your-domain.com "v=spf1 include:nexiwave.com include:aspmx.googlemail.com ~all"
If your domain does not have A, AAAA or MX DNS records, many email servers and spam filters may consider your domain invalid and reject email delivery or mark as spam. Please make sure at least one of these DNS records exists for your domain (even if pointing to wrong location).
For example, SpamExperts.com, whichs provides email hosting for many customers, may reject delivery attempt with this email bounce log:
Jul 15 2020 19:32:42 relay=mx.spamexperts.com[38.64.220.59]:25, status=bounced (host mx.spamexperts.com[38.64.220.59] said: 550 Sender has no A, AAAA, or MX DNS records. (in reply to RCPT TO command))
